- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- water - 1 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- tomato sauce - 1 c
- to 6 pieces chicken - 4 item
- wine white or red cooking - 1 c
How to make chicken cacciatore:
Coat chicken in flour, salt, and pepper. Brown in oil. Put in pan (13 x 9-inch) for baking. Brown onion, celery, and peppers in oil. Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, water, and wine in pan. Add brown sugar. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
