  • sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • cornstarch - 2 tsp
  • water
  • vegetable oil - 3 Tbsp
  • ginger - 1/2 tsp
  • soy sauce - 4 Tbsp
  • hot cooked rice - 1 item
  • boneless chicken breasts - 1 lb
  • carrot, sliced thin - 1 item
  • broccoli - 2 c
  • envelope onion soup mix - 1 item
  • snow peas - 1 c
  • green onions, sliced thin - 4 item
  • medium green pepper, cut into thin strips - 1 item

How to make chicken and vegetable stir-fry:

Thoroughly combine first 5 ingredients with water. Heat oil in wok or skillet over high heat. Add chicken and stir-fry 3 minutes. Add vegetables and golden onion recipe soup mixture. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, about 5 minutes or until thickened. Serve over hot rice.
