Ingredients/Components
- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- slivered almonds - 1 item
- soup can water - 1 item
- long grain brown rice - 1 c
- chicken breasts or 1 whole chicken, skinned - 6 item
How to make chicken and rice casserole:
Melt butter and add three soups and water. Remove 1 cup of the mixture and reserve for topping. To the remaining soup mixture, add 1 cup uncooked brown rice. Spread rice mixture on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Place chicken pieces on top of mixture and top with the 1 cup reserved mixture, Parmesan cheese and almonds.
