Chicken and rice casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sliced almonds - 1 pkg
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chicken broth - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- cooked rice - 2 c
- diced cooked chicken - 4 c
- hard-boiled eggs - 2 item
- bread or cracker crumbs - 1 c
How to make chicken and rice casserole:
Combine all ingredients, stirring well. Spoon into greased casserole pan. Slice eggs on top; top with bread or cracker crumbs. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes, or until bubbly. Almonds are optional.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
