Chicken and green bean casserole
Ingredients/Components
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- can French fried onions - 1 item
- cans French-style green beans, drained - 1 oz
- cans chunk chicken, drained - 3 oz
- pasteurized processed cheese spread - 8 oz
How to make chicken and green bean casserole:
Place chunk chicken in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish. Spread green beans over chicken. In a saucepan, melt margarine; add onion and saute. Add mayonnaise, soups and cheese; stir over medium heat until cheese is melted. Spread mixture over green beans. Bake in a preheated 325° to 350° oven for 25 minutes. Sprinkle French fried onions over casserole; return to oven until onions brown. Yield 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
