Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- lemon flavoring - 1 tsp
- butter flavoring - 1 tsp
- milk or half and half - 1 c
- corn meal - 2 Tbsp
How to make chess pie:
Combine butter and sugar. Cream well. Add all the other ingredients and mix. Pour into unbaked 9-inch pastry shell. Bake at 325° for 35 minutes to 1 hour.Variation: Add 1 cup coconut flakes to uncooked ingredients.
