  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 1/4 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 1 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • light brown sugar, packed - 1/3 c
  • butter or oleo, melted - 1/3 c

How to make cheesecake cookies:

Combine first 4 ingredients; pat mixture into an 8 x 8-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes (save 1/4 cup for top). Meanwhile, beat cheese and sugar smooth; beat in remaining ingredients. Pour over crust. Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top. Bake 30 minutes or more until set. Cool on wire rack. When cool, cut in 2-inch squares and then diagonally. Makes 32. Keep refrigerated.
