Cheesecake cookies
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/4 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- chopped nuts - 1/3 c
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 1/3 c
- egg - 1 item
- brown sugar, packed - 1/3 c
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
How to make cheesecake cookies:
Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add flour and nuts. Blend until crumbly. Set aside 1 cup and press remaining mixture into 8-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.Combine granulated sugar and cream cheese; beat until smooth. Add egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla. Beat well and spread over the baked crust. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over top. Bake 20 minutes at 350°. Cool and cut into bars, serving in paper cupcake liners for a decorative effect.
