  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1/3 c
  • melted butter - 1/3 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp

How to make cream cheese squares:

Combine first four ingredients. Flatten in 8 x 8-inch pan (reserving 1 cup for topping). Bake for approximately 12 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour onto baked crust. Cover with reserved topping. Return to oven for approximately 25 minutes at 350°. Remove from oven, cool, cut into squares. These squares freeze well.
