Cheeseburger pie
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- fine dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- tomato sauce - 4 oz
- pastry for 1 9-inch pie
- Cheese Topping - 1 item
- each salt, dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- chopped green pepper if desired - 1/4 c
- Brown beef in small amount of fat
How to make cheeseburger pie:
Heat oven to 425°. Brown beef in small amount of fat. Mix in rest of ingredients, except topping. Spread in pastry-lined pie pan. Spread Cheese Topping over filling. Bake about 30 minutes. Serve with sauce.
