Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 c
- sifted flour - 3 c
- red pepper - 1/2 tsp
- New York sharp Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 lb
How to make cheese straws:
Cream cheese and butter. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Press onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool or serve warm. Yields 3 dozen.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, < 15 mins, Cheese.
