Cheese sauce
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- stick margarine - 1 item
- Velveeta cheese - 1/2 c
- salt optional - 1/4 tsp
- flour plain - 4 Tbsp
How to make cheese sauce:
Melt butter; add flour. When mixed and no lumps, add milk and cook until creamy (low heat). Stir to prevent lumping. Add salt if desired and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted and smooth. Pour over cooked vegetables; broccoli, cauliflower, etc.Also can be used in macaroni. Cook macaroni and then add sauce.
