Cheese roll
Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- chili powder - 1 item
- dash salt - 1 item
- mild cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
- sharp cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
- medium cheddar cheese - 1 lb
- 8-oz pkgs cream cheese - 2 item
- dried onion flakes or less if using minced onion - 2/3 c
- minced garlic to taste be careful - 1 item
How to make cheese roll:
Grate all cheese and chop up cream cheese (I use a big roast pan). Add remainder of ingredients. Let cheese warm to room temperature. Mix well. Roll into logs and then roll in chili powder. Makes about 8 6-inch logs. Wrap each in Saran Wrap, then in foil and refrigerate. Slice and serve with crackers.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Appetizers, Cheese.
