Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1/3 c
- corn syrup - 1/3 c
- popped corn - 2 qt
- oleo - 1/4 c
How to make popcorn balls:
Place popped corn into large baking pan. Keep warm in 200° oven.Prepare syrup with next 5 ingredients. Cook over medium heat until it boils. Cook without stirring until 270° on candy thermometer. Add vanilla. Stir once to mix. Pour evenly over warm popcorn. Cool to handle. Makes 12 balls.
