Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 8 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- margarine - 1/2 c
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- paprika to taste - 1 item
- cayenne pepper - 1/8 tsp
- small onion, grated - 1 item
- small jar Cheez Whiz - 1 item
- grits - 2 c
How to make cheese grits:
Preheat oven to 350°. Add grits and salt to 7 1/2 cups boiling water gradually. Cook until thickened. Add remaining ingredients except paprika. Pour grits mixture into oiled casserole; sprinkle with paprika. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Yield: 20 servings.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Low cholesterol, Low fat.
