  • pkg - 8 oz
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
  • paprika to taste - 1 item
  • cayenne pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • small onion, grated - 1 item
  • small jar Cheez Whiz - 1 item
  • grits - 2 c

How to make cheese grits:

Preheat oven to 350°. Add grits and salt to 7 1/2 cups boiling water gradually. Cook until thickened. Add remaining ingredients except paprika. Pour grits mixture into oiled casserole; sprinkle with paprika. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Yield: 20 servings.
