Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- butter
- water - 2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- diced carrots - 1 c
- diced potatoes - 2 c
- grated cheese or Cheddar powder - 2 c
- cubed ham I use pork roll - 1 c
How to make cheddar chowder:
White Sauce:1/4 c. butter1/4 c. flour2 c. milk2 c. grated cheese or Cheddar powder1 c. cubed ham (I use pork roll) Cook vegetables in salt water for 10 to 12 minutes. Make white sauce; add cheese and meat. Add to vegetables that have not beenRecipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Super bowl.
