Ingredients/Components
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- tomato sauce - 2 c
- Mozzarella cheese - 6 oz
- can mushrooms - 1 oz
- bulk sausage - 1 lb
- rotini pasta - 1 c
- chopped peppers - 1/4 c
- mostaccioli pasta - 1 c
How to make cavatini:
Cook sausage 20 minutes and drain excess fat. Cook pastas according to directions on package. Saute mushrooms, onions and peppers in butter. In an 8 x 8-inch baking dish, layer as follows: pastas, sausage, mushroom mixture, sauce and cheese. Bake at 3Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Beef.
