Linguini and clam sauce
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- chopped parsley - 1/3 c
- clam juice - 1 c
- black pepper to taste - 1 item
- canned minced clams - 1 c
How to make linguini and clam sauce:
In a saucepan, heat oil. Add garlic and onion. Cook until tender over moderate heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add clam juice and stir until thickened.Add parsley and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add minced clams and cook only until clams are heated. Serve over 1 pound cooked linguini. Makes 4 servings.
