Carrot salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- salad oil - 1/4 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- carrots - 2 lb
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- small jar sweet pickle cocktail onions - 1 item
How to make carrot salad:
Peel and slice carrots; cook in salted water until just tender (do not overcook). Drain carrots. Mix all other ingredients and bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly. Pour over the carrots and stir well. Cover and refrigerate. Will keep six weeks.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Vegetables, Carrots.
