Copper pennies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- carrots - 2 lb
- green pepper, sliced - 1 item
- can condensed tomato soup - 1 item
- small onions, sliced - 3 item
How to make copper pennies:
Slice carrots. Place in a saucepan and cover with water. Simmer until just tender. Drain. Transfer to a glass bowl, add sliced onions and green peppers. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over the vegetables. Cover and marinate overnight. Serve cold.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low sodium, Salads.
