Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • vinegar - 1/3 c
  • salad oil - 1/2 c
  • dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • medium onion, thinly sliced - 1 item
  • can tomato soup - 1 item
  • medium green pepper, cut into strips - 1 item
  • carrots, cut on diagonal - 2 lb

How to make carrot salad:

Cook carrots in boiling salted water until just tender; drain. Add onion and green pepper. Combine rest of ingredients and pour over carrot mixture. Marinate in refrigerator overnight.
