Carrot pudding
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- water - 1 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- grated carrots - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 slightly
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- oleo - 1 c
How to make carrot pudding:
Cream oleo with sugar. Add egg and water, then the carrots. Sift together the dry ingredients and add to cream mixture. Mix thoroughly. Spoon into greased 6 to 8-cup ring mold. Bake in 350° oven for about 40 minutes. This is a good dish to serve with meats. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Egg, Side dish, Carrots.
