cinnamon
eggs - 3 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 2 tsp
flour - 4 c
brown sugar - 2 c
water
nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
baking powder - 1 tsp
baking soda - 1 tsp
shortening - 1 c
raisins - 2 c
nuts optional - 1/2 c
oatmeal - 2 c
allspice - 1/4 tsp

How to make jumbo raisin cookies:

Bring to a boil raisins and water. Let cool. Cream together brown sugar, shortening and eggs. Add the raisin mixture. Add the following ingredients: salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, flour, oatmeal, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda and nuts. Mix well. Drop by spoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 to 15 minutes or until brown. Remove from cookie sheet immediately.
