- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- oil - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- grated carrots - 2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- plain flour - 3 c
How to make carrot cake:
Sift flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and salt. Combine oil, carrots, sugar, eggs and nuts. Add sifted ingredients; mix well. Bake in a greased 9-inch tube pan at 350° for 1 1/2 hours. Cool. Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
