Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • cream cheese - 4 oz
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • butter
  • oil - 1 c
  • grated carrots - 3 c
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • or 8 oz - 1/2 lb

How to make carrot cake:

Icing:1/4 c. butter4 oz. cream cheese1 tsp. vanilla1/2 lb. or 8 oz. confectioners sugar Mix sugar, oil and eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add to egg mixture. Add vanilla, carrots and nuts. Mix well. Grease and flour tube pan. Bake at 350° in a preheated oven for 1 hour.

Icing: Cream the cream cheese and butter well. Mix in sugar, then vanilla. Whip well. Chop 1/2 cup of nuts. Sprinkle on top.
