  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • oil
  • grated carrots - 3 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • Frosting: milk

How to make carrot cake:

Frosting: milk1 (8 oz.) cream cheese1/2 c. butter1 c. chopped pecans1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Mix all dry ingredients. Add oil, eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until done.

Frosting: Mix cream cheese and butter. Add sugar, vanilla and pecans. Mix well. Add milk if needed to spread.
