Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- pkg
- milk - 1 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 3/4 c
- flour
- soda
- grated carrots - 2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- cooking oil
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- small can crushed pineapple - 1 item
How to make carrot cake:
Icing:1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 box powdered sugar1 c. chopped pecans milk Sift all dry ingredients together and set aside. Mix oil, sugar and eggs, beating after each addition. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add carrots, pineapple and nuts. Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake at 325° for 35 to 45 minutes.Icing: Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Add enough milk to make a spreading consistency. Mix until smooth. Add nuts. Spread on cooled cake.
