Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • grated carrots - 3 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • baking soda
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • chopped walnuts - 1 c
  • cooking oil
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • stick oleo - 1 item

How to make carrot cake:

Blend oil and sugar together. Add carrots and eggs. Mix well. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Add nuts last. Put into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out dry. Cool.

Mix cream cheese and oleo. Add vanilla and sugar. Cream well. Spread over cooled cake.
