Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • oil
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • grated carrots
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • self-rising flour - 2 c
  • Bake in prepared tube pan at 350° for 1 hour and 20 minutes

How to make carrot cake:

Mix all ingredients; beat well. Bake in prepared tube pan at 350° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.Glaze:1 c. sugar1/2 c. buttermilk1/2 tsp. soda1 tsp. vanilla Bring milk and sugar to a boil. Add soda and vanilla. Pour glaze over carrot cake after it stops bubbling.
