Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
- soda
- grated carrots - 2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- plain flour - 2 c
- salad oil
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each one
- small can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup, drained - 1 item
How to make carrot cake:
Blend oil and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each one. Sift dry ingredients together and add carrots, nuts and pineapple. Bake in 3 layers for 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.Frosting:1 box confectioners sugar1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 tsp. vanilla flavoring1 stick margarine Cream the cheese, margarine and vanilla; blend, then add sugar.
