Caramel popcorn
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla
- salt
- baking soda - 3/4 tsp
- firmly packed brown sugar - 3 c
- margarine
- popped corn - 9 qt
- light or dark syrup - 3/4 c
How to make caramel popcorn:
Melt margarine. Stir in sugar and salt; bring to a boil for 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat. Stir in soda. Pour over corn and put in shallow pan. Bake at 250° for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes. Store in sealed container.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Grains.
