  • semi-sweet chocolate, melted - 2 sq
  • sour cream - 1/2 c

How to make chocolate cheesecake:

Filling:3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened1 c. sugar6 eggs2 sq. semi-sweet chocolate, melted Frosting:6 sq. semi-sweet chocolate, melted1/2 c. sour cream Crust: Prepare in a medium bowl; mix together chocolate crumbs and melted butter. Press into a 9-inch spring-form pan. Preheat oven to 300°.

Filling: Prepare in a large bowl. Using an electric mixer set on medium speed, beat together the cream cheese, sugar and eggs until smooth and fluffy. Spoon half of the cream cheese mixture into the crust. Stir the 2 squares of chocolate into remaining cream cheese mixture until well blended. Drizzle over batter in crust to make swirls. Bake for 50 minutes. Transfer the pan to a wire rack. Cool the cheesecake completely. Transfer the cheesecake to a serving plate; cover with plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Uncover the cheesecake; carefully remove the side of pan.

Frosting: Prepare in a small bowl; mix together the chocolate and sour cream. Spread over top of cheesecake. Chill briefly until frosting is set.
