Caramel corn
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- dark corn syrup - 1/2 c
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- sticks oleo - 2 item
- popped popcorn, lightly salted - 16 c
How to make caramel corn:
Mix all ingredients well (except popcorn and baking soda). Dissolve over low heat. Boil 5 minutes on medium heat. Remove from heat and add baking soda. Pour over popcorn and mix well. Put in oven at 250° for 30 minutes. Stif often. Pour onto cookie sheets and let cool. Store in airtight container.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
