Grilled reuben sandwiches
Ingredients/Components
- margarine, softened - 1 item
- slices Swiss cheese - 6 item
- Thousand Island dressing - 1/2 c
- drained sauerkraut - 6 Tbsp
- slices rye or pumpernickel bread - 12 item
- cooked or canned corned beef, sliced very thin - 1/2 lb
How to make grilled reuben sandwiches:
Spread 6 slices of bread with dressing. Top each with 1 slice cheese, 1 tablespoon sauerkraut, sliced corned beef and bread. Butter top and bottoms of sandwiches. Grill on both sides until cheese is melted. Makes 6 sandwiches.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Cheese, Sandwich.
