  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • popped corn - 8 qt
  • dark corn syrup - 1/2 c

How to make caramel corn:

Preheat oven to 250°. Bring to boil the margarine, sugar and corn syrup; reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add soda. Pour over popcorn and pour mixture on two greased cookies sheets. Bake for 1 hour, turning corn by stirring every 15 minutes. Place in brown paper bag and break apart when cool.
