Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- popped corn - 5 6
- white corn syrup - 1/2 c
How to make caramel corn:
Pop corn as usual. Put in large pan in oven at 250° to keep warm. In heavy pan, melt margarine. Add sugar, corn syrup and salt. Cook until temperature reaches 248° on candy thermometer. Add baking soda (this will foam). Pour over popped cornRecipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
