  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • popped corn - 5 6
  • white corn syrup - 1/2 c

How to make caramel corn:

Pop corn as usual. Put in large pan in oven at 250° to keep warm. In heavy pan, melt margarine. Add sugar, corn syrup and salt. Cook until temperature reaches 248° on candy thermometer. Add baking soda (this will foam). Pour over popped corn
