- box butter cake mix - 1 item
- sour cream - 8 oz
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- cooking oil - 1 c
- Beat well
- stick margarine - 1 item
- white corn syrup - 1 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
How to make caramel cake:
Mix all ingredients. Beat well. Cook in 2 or 3 layers. Bake at 350° for about 25 minutes.Icing:2 c. sugar1 stick margarine1 Tbsp. white corn syrup1/2 c. buttermilk1 tsp. soda1/8 tsp. salt Mix all ingredients in heavy saucepan. Cook to soft ball stage.
