- whipping cream - 1 c
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- white Karo - 2 Tbsp
- box Duncan Hines butter cake mix - 1 item
- Cook at 375° until light brown
How to make caramel cake:
Go by recipe on cake mix box. Cook at 375° until light brown. Let cool.Filling:2 c. sugar2 Tbsp. white Karo1/4 tsp. cream of tartar pinch of salt1 c. whipping cream Put sugar in large boiler over heat and stir constantly until it turns light brown. Boil slowly until it will form a ball when dropped in cold water. Take it off stove and start beating with electric beater. Beat it a good bit or until it is creamy.
