Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- semi-sweet chocolate
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- evaporated milk - 2/3 c
- melted butter - 1/3 c
- Cool Whip - 1 (8
- coffee ice cream - 1 qt
- Oreos, crushed - 18 item
- nuts to garnish, chopped - 1 item
How to make calypso pie:
Crust: Crush Oreos and combine with melted butter. Put into a 10-inch pie pan or square pan.Spread softened coffee ice cream over crust. Freeze until hard.
Melt chocolate in 1 tablespoon butter. Add sugar and milk and cool until thick. Cool and pour over ice cream. Spread Cool Whip on top. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Freeze until served. Keep in fridge.
