Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- evaporated milk - 1/4 c
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- boiling water
- quick cooking oats - 1 c
- Cool
How to make oatmeal cake:
Place butter, oats and water in bowl; stir well. Cool. Add all remaining ingredients, stirring well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 325° for 40 minutes. Let cake set out of oven for 5 minutes.Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. melted butter1 c. coconut1/4 c. evaporated milk Blend sugar and coconut into butter; stir in milk.
