Oatmeal cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• salt - 1 tsp
• flour
• brown sugar - 1 c
• butter - 1/2 c
• evaporated milk - 1/4 c
• coconut - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• melted butter - 1/4 c
• boiling water
• quick cooking oats - 1 c
• Cool

How to make oatmeal cake:

Place butter, oats and water in bowl; stir well. Cool. Add all remaining ingredients, stirring well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 325° for 40 minutes. Let cake set out of oven for 5 minutes.Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. melted butter1 c. coconut1/4 c. evaporated milk Blend sugar and coconut into butter; stir in milk. Spread topping on cake; broil until bubbly.
