Ingredients/Components
- egg yolks - 3 item
- whipped cream - 1 item
- cans sweetened condensed milk - 2 1/2
- lime slices - 1 item
- 9-inch pie shell, baked - 1 item
- finely shredded lime peel - 1 tsp
How to make key lime pie:
In large mixer bowl, beat egg yolks with electric mixer until thick and lemon colored. Add the sweetened condensed milk and the lime peel. Gradually add the lime juice, beating at medium speed until mixed. Turn mixture into baked pastry shell. Cover and chill 4 hours. Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with lime slices.
