Cabbage casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pepper - 3/4 tsp
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- hamburger
- uncooked rice - 1/2 c
- small head cabbage - 1 item
- salt or mince a few garlic bulbs - 3/4 tsp
- can spaghetti sauce or jar - 1 item
How to make cabbage casserole:
Cook rice until tender. Brown meat, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix rice and tomato sauce. Line greased casserole with a layer of cabbage. Spread meat mixture over cabbage. Repeat with layer of cabbage and pour spaghetti sauce over top. Cover and bake at 350° for 55 minutes in 11 3/4 x 7 1/2 x 1 3/4-inch pan. Serves about 6.Note: You can spice up this meat mixture as desired.
