Ingredients/Components

  • garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
  • garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • can tomatoes, chopped and liquid reserved - 1 oz
  • medium head cabbage, chopped - 1/2 item
  • tomato can water - 1 item
  • can kidney beans, undrained - 1 oz
  • beef bouillon cubes optional - 4 item

How to make cabbage and beef soup:

Brown beef; drain. In large pot, mix all ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Makes 3 quarts. This soup can be frozen for later use.
