- salt and pepper - 1 item
- juice of 1 lemon
- chopped cabbage - 4 c
- slices bacon - 3 item
How to make cabbage and bacon:
Dice the bacon; cook in a skillet until golden brown and crisp. Spoon the bacon from the fat. Add the chopped cabbage to the bacon fat; reduce the heat and toss the cabbage until just tender, about 10 minutes. Add lemon juice and seasonings to taste. Turn into a warm serving dish.
