Butterscotch coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- butter - 1/3 item
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- cup water - 1/4 item
- cups flour - 2 item
- 1/2 cups light brown sugar - 1 item
How to make butterscotch coffee cake:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cream butter and add to flour mixture. Add brown sugar. When mixture is crumbly, take out 1 cup and add cinnamon to this. Mix well beaten egg, milk and water. Stir into flour mixture. Do not mix until smooth. Put into a greased 9X9X2 baking pan and sprinkle with reserved mixture.
