Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 4 Tbsp
- sugar - 2/3 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder
- egg - 1 item
- blueberries - 2 c
How to make blueberry cake:
Topping:4 Tbsp. butter1/2 c. sugar1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/4 tsp. nutmeg1/3 c. flour Preheat oven to 375°. Grease a 12 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Beat together 4 tablespoons of the butter with 2/3 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and mix well. Sift together 2 cups flour, baking powder and salt. Add to butter mixture alternately with milk, ending with flour mixture, and beating after each addition. Gently stir in blueberries until thoroughly combined. Spoon batter into prepared pan.Topping: Combine 4 tablespoons butter with 1/2 cup sugar in a small bowl. Add 1/3 cup flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle over top of the batter in the pan. Bake in preheated oven at 375° for 30 minutes. Cut into 24 squares.
