Buttermilk baked chicken
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3/4 c
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- butter, melted - 1/4 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- chicken pieces - 1 item
How to make buttermilk baked chicken:
Put melted butter in baking pan. Dip chicken in milk. Roll in flour, salt and pepper. Place in pan skin side down. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes at 350°. Turn and bake 15 minutes. Add a mixture of the soup and buttermilk; pour over chicken and continue to bake until done and sauce is bubbly. Sauce is delicious over rice.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
