Broccoli rice casserole
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- evaporated milk - 1 can
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- cooked rice - 3 c
- 10 oz - 1 pkg
- Cheez Whiz - 1 jar
- condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted - 1 can
How to make broccoli rice casserole:
In a large skillet over moderate heat, saute onion, celery and broccoli in butter for 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in cheese, soup and milk until smooth. Place rice in a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Pour cheese mixture over rice, do not stir. Bake, uncovered, in 325° oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
