Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- cooked rice - 2 c
- bunches broccoli - 2 item
- medium onion, chopped finely - 1 item
- ribs celery, chopped finely - 2 item
- Velveeta cheese about 2-inch hunk off the loaf, cubed
How to make broccoli rice and cheese casserole:
Saute onion and celery in butter or margarine. Cut, rinse and steam broccoli. Rinse broccoli in cold water and put into ice bath to stop cooking process. Drain in colander and chop coarsely.
