Broccoli quiche
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- sour cream
- oil - 1/3 c
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- whole wheat flour - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 1/4 c
- onion, chopped - 1 Tbsp
- frozen broccoli - 9 oz
- dill - 1/4 tsp
- Cheddar cheese - 3 oz
- almonds, chopped - 1/4 c
How to make broccoli quiche:
Filling:1 c. sour cream1/4 c. mayonnaise2 oz. Cheddar cheese1/4 tsp. dill1/2 c. milk9 oz. frozen broccoli1 Tbsp. onion, chopped Crust: Preheat oven to 400°. Combine all crust ingredients until crumbly and mixture holds together. Press into the bottom and sides of a 10-inch pie or quiche pan. Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown. Reduce oven heat to 325°.Filling: Combine sour cream, milk, mayonnaise and eggs; mix well. Stir in broccoli, 1/2 cup grated cheese, onion and dill. Pour into partially baked crust. Bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
